Scotland Yard has confirmed that the explosion on Parsons Green Tube train in south-west London is being treated as terrorism.
The blast injured the commuters at 08:20 AM on the District Line.
A white bucket was seen on fire inside a shopping bag, however it didn’t cause considerable damage to the carriage.
London Ambulance confirmed that Eighteen people have been taken to hospital.
Parsons Green station has been cordoned off by the Metropolitan Police who said it was early to confirm the cause of the fire.

Cobra, the government’s emergency committee, is set to have an emergency meeting today at 1:00 PM.

At least one passenger has been witnessed with burn injuries and others have described a fireball inside the carriage.
More injuries were caused by stampede as people rushed away from the scene in panic.
