The London Eye, also known as Millennium Wheel, is a spectacular Ferris wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. It is 443 feet tall and has a diameter of 394 feet. When it was inaugurated in 2000 it was the world's tallest Ferris wheel.
If you get a chance, this is a must while in London it gives you a great view of the city on a clear day. I recommend going very early or buying a fast pass as the lines can be long through out the day.

Even though it was a little misty I would not have missed this ride for the world. It was fascinating. We paid a little extra when we booked online so that we didn’t have to stand in the queue for too long which was well worth it.
